Start your New Membership

We’ve made it easier than ever to become a member! Now, you can pay for your membership online, in person, or via e-transfer. Follow the steps below to complete your application.

Steps to Become a Member

  1. Complete the application form at the bottom of this page.
  2. Choose your payment method:
    • Online: Pay securely through our Moneris Payment Portal.
    • In Person: Visit us at Chinook Arms 5325 48 Ave, Taber, AB T1G 1S7 403 635 3006 to pay by cash or card.
    • E-Transfer: Send payment for membership and FOB deposit (if required) to [email protected]. Include your full name and “Membership Payment” in the message.
  3. Send a copy of your PAL (front and back) to [email protected].
  4. Sign up for the RSO course (if you need range access). Check the RSO Course Schedule for available dates.

📌 Important: Complete all steps to avoid delays in processing your membership.

Membership Fees

  • Adult Membership: $150 per year
  • Junior Membership (ages 12-17): $30 per year
  • Children under 12: Free
  • FOB Deposit: One-time fee of $25 for range access (after completing the RSO course)

Memberships are valid from the date of purchase until December 31st of the same year. However, if purchased on or after CornFest (late August), membership is valid until December 31st of the following year.

Renewals: Memberships must be renewed before the last day of February each year. Unrenewed FOBs will be deactivated on March 1st. If you’re renewing, please visit our Membership Renewal page.

Additional donations are always appreciated and help support our community and range facilities.

Range Access & Guest Policy

  • Members with a range FOB may bring guests.
  • First two visits for a guest are free; after that, a $15 per visit fee applies.
  • Fees can be deposited in the range sign-in hut.
  • Guest lanyards are available in the hut.
  • Members must wear their own lanyard with their membership card and ensure both their name and the guest’s name are recorded in the sign-in ledger.
  • Members are responsible for their guests and must supervise them at all times.

Monthly Meetings & Donations

  • Meetings are held every third Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM at the Shooting Complex.
  • Donations of cash, materials, or in-kind services are greatly appreciated.
  • For larger donations, tax receipts may be available – please contact us for details.
